The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania invites BCCL Members, friends and family members to register and attend traditional Christmas Carols at Shakespeare hotel on Friday, 14th December from 6.00 pm
This is a nice traditional English way of celebrating Christmas when Carols are sung together, delicious home-made Mince pies are enjoyed and loved and affection of the season are shared with all.
This year without changing our long standing traditions, we will have our good friends – ensemble ‘Draugiski projektai’ to sing us as usual traditional British carols and in the course of the evening, we shall be joining in with the Carol singing all together, creating an exceptionally special atmosphere. Conducted by Linas Balandis.
There will be Christmas hot food buffet, wine and Black Bottle Scotch served in between the singing. And, of course, with no exception – ‘home made’ Mince Pies by Shakespeare hotel Chef will be enjoyed at the end of the evening as we’ll go along singing ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’.
The children will have a separate room to play with Gabija from ‘Smaragdo Miestas’.
! This year, our Christmas Carols event will be supporting the Charity initiative ‘Happimess’, helping the kids who are sick with oncological diseases. “Happimess” collaborates with Lithuanian designers by creating stylish charity products, which you will be able to buy during the evening. All the income will be donated to Tomas, who is sick with leukemia (11 years old, find out about disease half a year ago).
A wise Elf once said, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loudly for all to hear,” and you should certainly follow his advice during the BCCL Christmas Carols Feast!
Registrations are accepted no later than December 11th. The number of places is limited.
