British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania appoints new Chairman

The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania announced the appointment of Mr. Eric Shakeshaft as Chairman of the Board.

Eric Shakeshaft is a performance-driven senior management professional and entrepreneur from within the technology,  hospitality, and real estate sectors. Focused on identifying profitable business opportunities and creating comprehensive, executable business plans that consistently improve revenue, increase market share and capture corporate visibility. Results oriented and experienced in generating business for new markets by employing extensive product knowledge, customer relationship building, and meticulous attention to customer requirements.


Decisive negotiator and natural leader with proven ability to identify, penetrate, and secure on-going relationships and partnerships. Mr. Shakeshaft expects to contribute to the BCCL by developing strategy, direction and vision for the forthcoming years: “it is an honour to be given the opportunity to chair the board at the ‘British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania. As the BCCL continues to grow, the Chamber board will serve its members well, by bringing value and a vision to facilitate the members best interests- our members can look forward to an exciting 2019 .”


Mariano Andrade Gonzalez and Robert Juodka were elected as a Vice-Chairmen of the British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania (BCCL), after the first meeting of the new Board on 25th of April, 2019.

 The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and has become one of the most active foreign chambers in the country.  It is a recognized voice of the British business community in Lithuania promoting its members’ interest with government and business bodies in Lithuania and Britain, in collaboration with the British Embassy Vilnius and other strategic partners.
